The waters around Tybee Island are rich with different sea life. Sharks are abundant around Tybee Island, Little Tybee Island, and the rest of Georgia's coastline.
Alligators are not found as often at the coast because the salt content is very high. They are found a little further inland in the swamps and in the freshwater lakes and ponds in the coastal area.
I've only seen one alligator in the last 30 year! It was a really funny story, a small bachelorette party wanted a gator tour. I promised we would have a good time and less that a 1% chance of seeing a gator... and we saw one! I am still not sure who was more surprised that we saw one, them or me!
Absolutely! We offer 3 different dolphin tours throughout the day. Visit our dolphin tours page for more info on each.
